The MOST important part of a successful finished product is fixing the brackets to your window frame and cutting the roller the correct size. DO THIS FIRST! Make sure you leave enough room at the top for your rolled up fabric. Then, measure your fabric to the size of the roller NOT the width of your window. I had to steam open my shade to lessen the width and re-fuse it - messy. Another important step (per the instructions) is to cut your fabric on the grain to ensure your shade rolls up and down easily. You will need to purchase a pull bar for the bottom of your shade and my kit didn't come with any screws for the brackets. Good Luck!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-09-16</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2015-09-16" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="52911479"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="HTC Fuse-A-Shade Fabric Roller Shade Kit" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">MiddleSister</span> from <span itemprop="name">Great product, easy to make!</span> <span itemprop="description">Just what I needed in the laundry room window. I added a valance above the shade to hide the shade hardware. My fabric was too transparent to fold back on the sides. Dritz Fray Check on the cut edges of the fabric will protect it; the previous one lasted 16 years! Note: directions are inside the roller. I used a stick-on hook with Velcro to hold the pull cord taut. I put a plastic bar inside the hem in case some pulls the bottom of the shade instead of using the cord.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-05-14</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2015-05-14" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="49873259"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="HTC Fuse-A-Shade Fabric Roller Shade Kit" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">3</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">mo2sew</span> from <span itemprop="name">package open, no instructions</span> <span itemprop="description">The package I received was open and maybe that is why there were no instructions, but I have noticed other reviewers had the same complaint. Luckily, this was not my first rodeo, and I was able to figure out how to mount the shade with the included hardware. I found instructions for the fusing online, but it was really just like any other fusible. All of that said, it worked like it should and the shade looks beautiful. Just please pay attention to the type of fabric that will work with this and you should be fine.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2015-04-09</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2015-04-09" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="104897766"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="HTC Fuse-A-Shade Fabric Roller Shade Kit" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">RNBV</span> from <span itemprop="name">Nice shade - here's a bracket install diagram</span> <span itemprop="description">This is the 2nd time I've used this kit. It is time consuming and I had to read the directions about 5 times - read them 1st or you risk cutting something wrong. The fabric instructions are inside the tube. No bottom slat was provided. Seam fuse was included. No instructions for brackets so I searched and found these. The end product is great - thoroughly reading the instructions and preparation are key.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2016-09-24</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2016-09-24" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="16360773"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="HTC Fuse-A-Shade Fabric Roller Shade Kit" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Tammy</span> from <span itemprop="name">7 years in use &amp; still like new!</span> <span itemprop="description">I purchased this for shade in my bathroom 7 years ago. I close it every night so it's gotten lots of use- and it still works like new. Was a great investment- highly recommend. Was easy to make &amp; install. I didn't need it so long, so cut shade fabric shorter &amp; attached to roller with tape. Hint- If shade becomes too loose to roll up- just remove from brackets &amp; roll up tight &amp; re-install- good as new! :)</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2010-11-12</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2010-11-12" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="16360786"> <meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="HTC Fuse-A-Shade Fabric Roller Shade Kit" /> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author">Anonymous</span> from <span itemprop="name">make shade any length</span> <span itemprop="description">I have used two of these kits, both times inserting the ends into a 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe 78 inches long.
